How to Register for Classes in Five Simple Steps

The 2025 Kiwanis Music Festival has upgraded to a new registration system!
Our new platform allows for intuitive and user-friendly Festival registration. Please see a step-by-step guide for registration below:

  1. View our 2025 Syllabus

    Visit our website at www.kiwanismusicfestivalsj.ca and either download or view our full syllabus online to see which class selections will work best for you.

  2. Create a new account

    Select the "Sign in" button at the top of our website. On the sign-in page, click the "Create New Account" button to create a profile.

    All you need to create an account is your name, a valid email address, and a new password. Once you have entered your details, you will be prompted to verify your email address. After you have completed the verification process within your email account, you can refresh your browser and sign in to kiwanismusicfestivalsj.ca. Please store your password in a safe place for future logins! Remember, you will be creating a brand new account for the new Kiwanis Music Festival software. You will no longer be able to utilize your Music Festival Suite login, password, or ENT number to register for the Kiwanis Music Festival of St. John's.

  3. Select Your Class and Role

    When you are ready to register, click the 'Registration' tab in the menu at the top of our website. From there, you can select which category you would like to register for (ex. vocal, piano, strings, etc). Once you have chosen your category, you can scroll through our entire list of class offerings. When you've found the class you'd like to register for, click the blue "Register" button beside the class listing.

    The register button will bring you to a page where you can select whether you are a parent registering your child, a teacher registering your student, or an adult registering yourself. If you need to act in multiple roles for this festival (ex. are you a parent in some classes and a teacher in others), you can always return to this page and change what role you select by clicking the "Change Registration Type" button at the bottom of the page.

    Please note: whoever completes the registration process will be required to submit payments for the registration.

  4. Enter the Competitor and Class Details

    You will be prompted to enter all the details of the competitor you would like to register for this class. This will include their name, mailing address, and the valid email address associated with their parent or teacher. If you are a teacher registering your students please ensure you have these details in advance. If you are a parent registering your child, please ensure you have a valid email address for your child's teacher.

    Next, you need to enter all the details for the class. This includes the repertoire title, composer, approximate piece length, and instrument if applicable. Please ensure all of the details listed are correct before submitting your registration. When you have entered all class and competitor details, click the "Save" button on the bottom right-hand side of the page. Once your registration details have been entered, you can either choose to add more registrations or checkout.

  5. Payment

    When ready to checkout, you can select to process your payment via Stripe, or submit an e-transfer to kiwanismusicfestivalsj@gmail.com. As soon as your payment has been submitted, you have successfully registered for the 2025 Kiwanis Music Festival!

    Please note that registrations are not complete until payment has been processed. Payments must be submitted before the registration deadline on November 18th, 2024.
